Meet the Doctor
Dr. Jeannie Tsai is a fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician by the American Board of Medical Specialties, and is a fully licensed physician and surgeon. Dr. Tsai completed her fellowship at Harvard Medical School and received her Masters of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. She has been practicing medicine in California since 1997 and opened her Los Angeles laser clinic in 2001, specializing in tattoo removal.Since then, Dr. Tsai has studied with internationally known laser experts Dr. Eliot Battle, MD, and Dr. Monte O. Harris, MD, and has studied laser medicine and cosmetic aesthetic medicine extensively, and has focused her efforts on the challenges and intricacies of treating dark and ethnic skin.
She studied Internal Medicine at UCLA/Wadsworth VA and Emergency Medicine at Los Angeles County University of Southern California. For three years, she worked in the emergency department at one of the largest trauma centers in the country, Los Angeles County General Hospital.
Dr. Tsai is an avid athlete, and has completed more than 20 marathons and four Ironman triathlons.
